studentsThe Student's Council of Knox Community College took a decision some years ago to make it mandatory for students of the college to be dressed in uniform. This decision was based on the fact that as the student body comprises members from all socio-economic groups it was necessary to create a level playing field and make it impossible to determine economic status by dress and so prevent discrimination. This stand was approved by the administration of the college and the following code voted on and approved by students.

Students must wear the correct school uniform as set out in the school’s guidelines while on the premises and while traveling to and from School on any official school day. The uniform is a symbol of the School and as such should be  worn with   pride and kept clean  and tidy.
